Two sheep at rest on a green hill in Ireland.

Greener pastures.

“The real reason to come to Ireland is to have your heart caught by surprise,” writes Virtuoso, The Magazine contributor Kim Brown Seely, who recently spent time roaming the country’s west coast. Between meeting peregrine falcons and enjoying dinners with a healthy dose of Irish butter (if you know, you know), those surprises found their way into her trip. CHECKING IN
Rachel Dratch, wearing a black dress, smiles at the camera.

Comedian Rachel Dratch, who will perform on Uniworld Boutique River Cruises’ first-ever women-only voyage next month in France, shares what she’s been loving lately.

Packing: I’m not a careful packer, so if I can remember my travel plug adapter, I’m ahead of the game!

Reading: My friend Jeff Hiller’s book, Actress of a Certain Age. It’s been making me laugh, which I need, because I also doomscroll.

Listening: Amy Poehler’s podcast, Good Hang. I got into The Telepathy Tapes pod as well. And as long as I’m plugging others, I may as well plug my own: Woo Woo with Rachel Dratch!

Dreaming of: I'm going to Yellowstone for a friend’s big birthday celebration – I’ve never been! On my wish list: Japan? Iceland? I have lofty plans, but I often end up opting for my local faves, including Cape Cod, Vermont, and Maine.
