CHECKING IN
Adam Erace, wearing a black sweater and standing in front of a black wall, gazes at the camera.

Writer and Virtuoso, The Magazine contributor Adam Erace shares what he’s been loving lately. Photo by Neal Santos.

Packing: On longer international trips, I always pack my durable, collapsible Rohan duffel, which folds up into the size of a tissue box. I call it the “Dirty Clothes Bag.”

Reading: My favorite author, Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club), just dropped his first new novel in a minute, Not Forever, But for Now, and I can't wait for my next beach trip to get into it.

Wearing: Because I hate feeling restricted in jeans on a plane, Jishinman’s Shinbo harem pants have become part of my travel uniform. They're breathable, lightweight, baggy but not sloppy, and easy to dress up or down. I have them in black, khaki, and blue.

OUTBOUND

Museum exhibits in Oregon, Paris, and Ontario will up your culture game. We’re in love with these quilted jackets made from repurposed Indian textiles. Dear Annabelle’s hotel-inspired stationery is worth writing home about.
